Guild of Robotic Artisans

University of Minnesota

We are a project within the student group Tesla Works. The project started after a professor forwarded contact about this competition to our group as we are known to be the most innovative and adventurous project based group on campus. After forming, funding was granted through the CSE Expo which is an event April 19th started to inspire middle school students in science and engineering. We are composed of engineers, scientists, and artists from across the university. Our main focus with this project is to test the bounds of what a robot can do to art that a human cannot be that in execution or how it represents a set of data in painting form. This competition has sparked a huge host of ideas that will continue beyond the deadline and expand into other media aside from paint. We are extremely excited for this opportunity and hope to blast the competition out of the water.
