The Team "Dots and Dashes" has developed a New Artist Robot e-SaShiGa that can Draw, Stipple and Paint as per instructions. The name “SaShiGa” stands for SMART APPARTUS for STIPPLING & HATCHING, IMAGE GENERATIVE ART. Developed by our Team in Mumbai, India, e-SaShiGa uses available software, to decide the placement of the next dot or line. Our project’s objective is to build a simple form of machine suitable to Indian conditions, and which requires minimal software, and can produce pure and fine artwork. The e-Sashiga uses art supplies like Pen, Ink, Brush, Paints, Drawing Papers, Drawing Canvas, etc. similar to an Artist. The Computer Program provides drawing commands that are executed by the machine. The Artist in advance, decides where to draw and accordingly sets commands into the Program.
