Project Convert To Paint

Our team is comprised of a CNC hobbyist (Bill Opsahl), a lifelong artist (Mike Schupp), and a novice programmer (John Opsahl). Our goal was to develop a process to convert vector images to canvas paintings. We have designed our process around hobby three axis CNC machines so others can use our tools and methodology to create their own paintings. We have open sourced our ConvertToPaint code and CNC artist tool chucks. 90% of any prize money awarded to our team will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City.
