Painted in a impressionistic way, my goal with this work was to promote the blending of colors. This was achieved by preparing the source image in such a way that overlapping strokes could be generated, and by using all eight colors simultaneously during the painting process. My program uses a stochastic approach: from a range of randomly generated strokes, strokes are selected according to a set of pre-determined constraints. The robot carries out the painting work according to a pre-programmed set of instructions, without any feedback system.
